What is the gospel?

The gospel means "good news".  We have good news to tell you - it about a man name Jesus Christ.

Our Problem - Sin

Sin means "to disobey God".

• Romans 5:19 - "For by one man's disobedience many were made sinner."

• Romans 5:23 - "For the wages of sin is death."

• Romans 7:24 - "Who will deliver me from this body of death?"

Our Solution - Jesus Christ, the Son of God

Mark 1:1 - "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God"

Jesus solved our problem of sin

At the cross to cleanse our sins

John 1:29 - "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"

And in resurrection, to give us life

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believer in Him should not perish but have eternal life. "

Receiving Our Solution

Romans 10:9, 13 - "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved...For whoever calls on the name of the Lord
shall be saved.”

You also can receive Jesus Christ today as your Savior and have eternal life.  Pray the following simple prayer out loud with your mouth, and believe in your heart what we've shared with you.

Oh Lord Jesus.
Lord, I confess that I am a sinner.
Lord, I cannot save myself.

Lord, thank you for coming to be my Savior
Thank you for dying for me, and for cleansing me of my sins.

Lord, I believe in You.
Lord, I want to receive you.
Oh Lord Jesus, save me.

Lord, thank you for saving me.
Thank you for coming into me and being my Savior.

Oh Lord Jesus, I love you.
 

Praise God, by faith, you are now a child of God.  John 1:12 - "To those who believe in His name, He gave the right to become children of God."
