The burden for the Saturday evening meeting is to get into the following questions regarding the Word of God:
Each week, there is a theme verse to highlight the main point we will cover, but the main intent is for everyone to also find other verses related to the main point. We also will use Psalms 119 as base verses as we spend time in the matter concerning the Word.

What should the Word do to us? Our dealing with the Word
April 15 - We come to the Lord to receive life You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. (John 5:39-40) April 22 - We mix the word with faith For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. (Heb. 4:2) April 29 - We are doers of the word But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. (James 1:22-25) May 6 - We read the word in prayer And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. (Eph. 6:17-18)
May 13 - We let the word dwell in us richly Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. (Col. 3:16)
