Lord's Table Meeting

Our Lord Jesus commanded us to:

"For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, 'Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.' In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.' " (1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

We also have the Lord's Table on every Sunday morning, based on Acts 20:7,

"Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread."

The meeting begins at 10:00AM.  Every attendee, who is a genuine born again Christian, is encouraged to call a song, offer up a praise or thanksgiving prayer, to partake of the bread and wine during the meeting.

Fellowship Meeting

"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers," (Acts 2:42)

The meeting follows the Lord's Table at 11:00AM each Sunday morning.  In all our fellowship meetings, our goal is that everyone reads and gets into the word of God in our daily lives, seeking light from Him, and gaining experiences with Christ, in order that we could share our testimonies to one another in the church meetings for the edification or building up of His church.

Children's Meeting

"And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus," (2 Timothy 3:15)

It is our goal and desire to lay a good foundation of the word of God into our children with the view of them as the future of the church.  Every Sunday at 11:00AM, we have an hour's time with the children in where they learn to sing praises to our God, recite their memory verse for the week, learn a new Bible story, and learn a craft or game.

Prayer Meeting

" 'Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.' 'Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.' " (Matthew 18:18-20)

Every Tuesday evening at 7:30PM, we gather together to pray for the going on of the church in Fountain Valley, for all the needs to the brothers and sisters, for unbelievers to receive salvation, for seeking Christians to desire to meet and build the church according to God's way, and for all the churches around the world.  Every attendee are free to pray what the Holy Spirit leads to pray, and we all affirm the prayer by saying "Amen," meaning we agree.

Young People's Meeting

" Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." (2 Timothy 2:22)

Every Saturday evening beginning at 6:30PM, we gather together for dinner followed by an evening of fellowship with the young people in the church in Fountain Valley.  The temptations of the world is quite strong, and by gathering the youth together to pursue Christ together through prayer, singing and getting into the word of God for fellowship is the best way to grow in Christ and to build up His church as young people.

General Meeting Principles

"How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification," (1 Corinthians 14:26)

"But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love," (Ephesians 4:15-16)

"If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed," (1 Timothy 4:6)

Our expectations for one another is that we all spend time in the word of God during the week, seeking His light in our daily life and gaining experiences with our living God, in order that we could share our testimonies with one another when we come together in the meetings.
