The Unsearchable Riches of Christ

(Psalm Book Five – Ps. 107 to 119)

Christ, the Priestly King on the Throne,
Ultimately Defeats All His Enemies
by the Building of His Glorious Church

I      Psalm 107 – The lovingkindness and the wonderful acts of God in Christ Jesus

A.  Taking good care of His redeemed ones (vv. 1-9)

1.   Satisfying their thirsty and hungry souls

2.   Leading them by a straight way to a habitable city

B.  Saving men out of their distresses (vv. 13, 14, 16)

1.   Bringing them out of darkness and the shadow of death

2.   Breaking their chains in pieces

C.  Sending His word to heal them and delivering them from the pit (vv. 17-22)

D.  Causing the storm to be still (vv. 23-30)

1.   Hushing the waves
